Bore Drilling

RD20 drilling rig

Since January 2022, Clear Cut has offered the RD20 XC mobile drilling rig as a part of our drilling rig services. Designed for self-propelled drive-in drive-out applications, it was manufactured by Atlas Copco USA (now Epiroc).

Drilling companies in Perth have used it to drill deep water wells and low heat geothermal bores in the Basin.

Some of the RD20 XC’s features include:

• API drill pipe

• 3,000psi mud manifold

• 26” pass through rotary table with 17-1/2” API bowls

• Support for a hydraulic casing jack to safely manage overpull of stuck tubulars
