Clear Cut Intervention's Slickline Services

Slicklines are integral to our well intervention services, allowing us to complete precise and efficient downhole operations. Using our single and dual drum units, our services include:

  • Slickline or braidedline intervention (flow control, gauge hanging, profile plugs and more)
  • Large bore unperforated swabbing
  • Dropped and magnetic object recovery
  • Other speciality services

These services are aided by specialised pulling tools, designed to work seamlessly with our setups to ensure optimal performance both onshore and offshore. We also utilise market leading slickline pressure control technology.

Together, these tools and services allow us to carry out targeted interventions tailored to specific well conditions, maximising operational efficiency and safety.

Our Slickline Pulling Tools

Spring Jar Slickline

Designed for jarring stuck equipment or debris loose in the wellbore, this tool creates a mechanical impact delivered through a spring mechanism. We commonly use the spring jar to effectively clear wellbore obstructions.

Tubing Broach Slickline

The tubing broach slickline tool is used to smooth out the inside of the tubing, removing scale and other deposits that can impede fluid flow. It is vital for enhancing and maintaining operational efficiency.

Tubing Stop Slickline

This tool is used to place or retrieve stops within the tubing to control the flow of fluids. It is crucial for sectional isolation during testing and treatment operations.

Pump Bailer Slickline

The pump bailer tool removes debris from the wellbore by vacuuming or pumping it out. It is particularly useful in cleaning after drilling or repair works.

Blind Box Slickline

Used for retrieving small objects or samples from the wellbore, the blind box tool provides a secure containment option during extraction processes, ensuring that nothing is lost during retrieval.

Knuckle Joint Slickline

The knuckle joint tool allows for greater flexibility and manoeuvrability of downhole tools, particularly in deviated wells where straight tools may not reach. It provides an adaptability that is crucial for effective interventions in complex well geometries.

Clear Cut Interventions: Proven Success in Slickline Interventions

Clear Cut interventions is proud to have guided many WA projects toward their completion. We have had proven success in onshore and offshore interventions:

Waylering Gasfield: We provided critical data and results traditionally sourced via an E-line. Our client was able to track their required data using a quicker and cheaper alternative to E-line logging.

Wandoo-B production platform: Our team were mobilised to set up an inverted 3 sheave rig up solution, retrieving a dropped object within 3 hours of rigging.
