This skid serves as the storage of the coiled tubing and spooling device during CTU operations. The skid can be secured to prevent movement during operations. The CT Reel is suspended by the crane with the axle in position and the spooler engages hydraulically on rollers to clamp the axle on the Reel to the Spooler motor.  Various sizes of CT Reel can be accommodated in this way.  The Spooler also accommodates pump through optionality and can be loaded with drop balls if required.

The spooler can be supplied with bespoke tie down chains. Clear Cut Interventions also has a yard spooler to assist with reel to reel transfers, coil cuts or CT preservation if required.
